1)  CLSC annual fall picnic on 09/30/2007 at Rockburn Branch Park.
Picnic will start at 3:30 PM, school will have an early dismiss at 3:00 PM. If you can bring in your favorite side dishes, or deserts to share, it will be very appreciated. 2)  9/30 is the last day to turn in CLSC school directory cover pages drawing contest.
Please give your drawing to your teacher as soon as you come to the school. Theme: anything related to rat (mouse). Details see here .

3)  Confucius Ceremony at Taipei Economic & Cultural Representative Office (TECRO) on Saturday Sep. 29, 2007 at 901 Wind River Lane, Gaithersburg, MD 20878

10:00 - 11:00 AM	-	Confucius birthday Ceremony -Yi dance    祭孔大典 (3 CLSC students participate in the dance)
11:00 - 12:00 AM	-	National Palace Museum e-exhibit   故宮文物 e 展 開幕典禮

4)  Double tenth day celebration at TECRO on 10/06 and 10/07
4.1)  Saturday 10/06 from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM. At the festival you can watch the performance show, guess the riddle and enjoy good food.
大華府地區中文學校聯誼會慶祝雙十國慶將於十月六日星期六中午十二時至下午三時假僑教文化中心， 舉辦學生表演，猜謎比賽，園遊會； 請各中文學校擺攤販賣精美小吃，兒童遊戲，展示中國結，草編等；學生表演中華文化各項傳統技藝( 舞蹈，武術，體育，舞獅等) 。 聯誼會鼓勵各中文學校師生前往園遊會品嚐小吃， 觀看學生才藝演出表演並分享猜謎搶答比賽的樂趣，渡個愉快的週末

5)  Fund Raising Sale :
At fund raising desk, we have bamboo wrap sweet-rice bum sale every week; Chinese Dim-Sum sale once a month ( order by 10/07, pick up on 10/14); department store gift card sale every week; and Formosa Beef jerky and pork song sale twice per semester (order by 10/07, pick up on 10/21).
