1)  01/13/2007 is 1 st day of 2008 Spring semester.
You can ADD/DROP class, and pay tuition. Please pay spring tuition on 01/13, 01/20 and 01/27 to avoid late fee. See CLSC website for new fee structure. 01/21 CLSC will have regular school session.

2)  Sing up for CLSC services at Cafeteria.
Please check school website for detail list. To give all families have chance to sign up for services, please sign up for one service only, after February, unfilled service slots will be open for any interested parents and students to sign up.

3)  Chinese New Year party will be on Saturday 02/09/2008 at Cradlerock school.
We will have professional Lion dance as the opening performance. You can start to purchase Chinese New Year party tickets and Bingo game sheets on this Sunday 01/13 . Spaces are limited, only 300 tickets for sale. See attachment registration form for details. 農曆春節晚會聚餐定於 2/09/2008 於 Cradlerock school 舉行 . 本週起開始購買出席票券和摸彩券 . 由於座位有限, 所以僅售 300 張票. 細節及登記表請見 CLSC website.

4)  CLSC Yo-Yo team, dance group, calligraphy and cultural display team will participate in 2008 Lunar New Year celebration event at Glenwood community center, on Friday 01/18, organized by Howard County Park and Recreation Department. Address: 2400 Rt 97, Cooksville , MD 21723. Please check CLSC website or visit http://www.co.ho.md.us/RAP "Lunar New Year" for details.

5)  Please pick up your Chinese Dim-Sum order this Sunday.
If you want to place new order, please call Chi-Chun Wu 吳錦春 at (410) 964-6689 before Saturday night.

6)  Yo-Yo performance: We need more students join the Yo-Yo performance team at Glenwood community on 01/18.
We also want to present a Yo-Yo performance at CLSC Chinese New Year Party. If you have interest for either one, you need to bring your Yo-Yo and join the after-school practice this Sunday 01/13.

7)  Up to sixty $2000 scholarships will be awarded to incoming Asian Pacific Islander American (APIA) college freshmen for the 2008-2009 academic school year.

8)  CLSC Community Bulletin Board: New section in CLSC website.
It will post sales, help wanted, services and various information to serve our community. We hope you will visit and use it well. New posted item: "Help wanted - Nanny for twin babies".
