CLSC eComm 02/17/2008

1)  We had a successful and fun Chinese New Year party.

Million thanks to all the coordinating teachers, participating students, helping parents and the BOD/BOT team. It's a good team work. Unfortunately we had an incident during the event outside of the cafeteria, which we need to bring to your attention. The incident involved some students played around and splashed water to each other. One student was accidentally splashed by hot water and got first degree burn on the majority of his back. Thanks to many helpers stayed after the party, the injury was under controlled. This student was recovered completely without any further medical attentions. We learned several lessons from this incident. The CLSC admin team should be more cautious about all safety related issues when planning any school related activities. And we also need more parents' involvement to make sure all children's safety in all activities. If you see any unsafe act exhibited by some students, please don't hesitate to correct him or her immediately and then report the problem to school administrators. We need everyone's awareness and effort to make our school safe for your and all students.

- After party lost & found – a lunch bag, and a badminton set.
