1)  廖文和布袋戲團　2008美國巡演
臺灣布袋戲表演廖文和布袋戲團，係由中華民國行政院文化建設委員會指導贊助、駐紐約台北經濟文化辦事處台北文化中心安排於 6 月 21 至 22 日演出 3 場《西遊記》，透過布袋戲偶唐三藏前往西方取經的故事，表現偶戲之仙山傳奇。免費入場
Liao Wen-Ho Puppet Theater 2008 US Tour
It is sponsored by the Council for Cultural Affairs in Taiwan and the Taipei Economic & Cultural Center (TECO) to perform at the Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery in Washington, DC and Pennsylvania. Liao Wen-Ho Puppet Theatre will present performances of "Journey to the West" which is also famous as " Monkey King" story. The admission is free. 2)  Asian American HealthCare Center Grand Opening on Saturday, September 27
The Asian American Healthcare Center's mission is to help Asian Americans who do not have health insurance. The Center will hold a grand opening on Saturday, September 27. During the grand opening, there will be screening for HBV and other diseases. Dr. Yen Li 李炎 will be the liaison between the Chinese community and the Center. He will forward the details and address when they are available.
Please help to outreach to our community for those who do not have or in between health insurances.  They may contact Dr. Yen Li 李炎 directly at 410-461-5146 .

3)  Experienced Chinese Yo-Yo teacher from Taiwan will visit the STARTALK program site on July 7-8.
We will schedule 07/07 Monday afternoon or evening, and 07/08 Tuesday afternoon for CLSC students and parents to learn advanced Yo-Yo skill from him. If you have interest, please contact Emily for details.
