1)  The Governor's Task Force on Preservation of Heritage Languages Town Hall Meeting on November 24, 2008, Monday at 7:00 - 9:00 p.m., at Howard High School (new location)

Please show our Chinese community support by attending this town hall meeting. Email me if you will attend, we need the total headcounts.

The Governor of Maryland has established a task force to prepare recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly on how to promote the teaching of heritage languages. We need to attend this town hall meeting to voice our needs, our concerns and our challenges for promoting and preserving Chinese language.

2)  CLSC Fund Raising activities
- Formosa sausage and beef jerky sale - order Due date 11/23. Pick up on 12/07. This is the last order before 2009 price adjustment.
- CLSC semi-annual gift card sale on 11/23, 12/07, 12/14, and 12/21. We have gift cards for Giant, AA, Lotte, HMart, and we have Department store gift cards which are $25 face value for sale as $24 .

3)  Chinese YO-YO class for beginner and intermediate level- start now
- date : 11/23, 12/07, 12/14, 12/21 4 lessons
- time: 3:50 – 4:30 PM
- fee : $10 for 4 lessons

4)  Get your Service Fee refund on 12/14 and 12/21.
If you have done CLSC services and did not get a refund coupon, please come to pick up.
