CLSC 2009 Fall General Meeting minutes

1. Budget: Approval of 09-10 budget by all parents attended. It will remain at the positive side if we strive to reach our fundraising goals.
   
   
2. School Service: Service slots sign up starts from today. One family may sign up to 2 service slots. School service include but not limited to : after-school classroom cleaning, fund raising desk helper, school activity helper, fall picnic helper, school directory drawing contest helper, room-parent, speech contest judge and other help which will be announced by eComm later. At the end of each service, you will receive a voucher from Facility Director, at end of semester you can redeem the voucher with gift cards or cash. The sign-up sheet is posted on the door at the cafeteria entrance . Please contact your child’s teacher if you want to be room-parent or speech contest judge of the class.
   
   CLSC is a co-op school, most of the staff members are volunteers, we need helps from all parents. Please get involved with many upcoming activities such as fall picnic (10/25), directory drawing contest and tuition collection assistance.
   
   
3. Adults sit in your child's class won't need to pay. However, any monetary donation or volunteering in any school events are welcome.
   
   
4. Fall Picnic: Our annual fall picnic will be held at Meadowbrook Park on 10/25 from 3 pm to 5 pm. This park is next to Long Gate park and ride at Route 100. It is free of charge and provides you an opportunity to talk with your child's teacher and class parents.
   
   It will be a potluck style which needs coordination from each room parent. Please contact your room parent with what you will bring. We will have a planning meeting with all room-parents for the details on 10/03, if you can help or have any suggestion please let us know.
   
   
5. Introduce BOTs/BODs. Encourage parents to get involved with CLSC. There are academic dean/membership/registrar/activity positions pending.
   
   
6. Explain various activities including phone card sale, Formosa pork sausage sale, moon cake sale, flu shot clinic, AAHC volunteering, Lotte supermarket receipt donations, and more.
   
   
7. We will decide if school directory will be in electronic format in the future.
   
   
8. We need your active e-mail address for school related communication.
